Conscious sedation treatment
Anxiety or fear of dental treatment is a common reality, but it should not delay caring for your oral health.
Conscious sedation is the indicated medical solution to provide comfort, tranquillity and wellbeing during any clinical procedure.

Conscious Sedation at GSC Dental Clinic
At Gambelas Smile Clinic, we use conscious sedation in adults whenever necessary, mainly in patients with dental phobia.
Through the controlled administration of nitrous oxide (laughing gas), the patient remains awake, cooperative and in total safety - without pain, without tension and with a feeling of deep relaxation.
This type of sedation is performed in a controlled medical environment, with continuous monitoring, allowing a return to normal routine the same day.
Caring for oral health should be a serene experience, even for those who have fears - and we guarantee it will be.
How Conscious Sedation works

Prior medical assessment
Analysis of clinical history, anxiety and precise indication for sedation.
Nitrous oxide application
Inhalation through a nasal mask, with a quick and painless onset.
Feeling of relaxation
The patient remains awake, but deeply relaxed and cooperative.
Clinical procedure
Treatment performed with total comfort and permanent medical supervision.
Supervised recovery
After sedation ends, the patient remains under observation for about 30 to 60 minutes.
Our dental medical team
The medical team at Gambelas Smile Clinic is specialised in conscious sedation techniques for adults and children, with rigorous training and state-of-the-art equipment.
We believe that emotional comfort is as important as clinical treatment, and that is why we follow each patient with empathy, respect and total transparency, ensuring peace of mind at every moment of the process.
